Welcome!!

One thing I've noticed as I've worked with other teachers on Daily 5 is the amount of variance it allows.  Everyone does it their own way.  The best way to implement it in your classroom is to find out what works for you and then steal and share other ideas along the way to make it better.  It's a process-take it slow.  As you hear ideas on your journey, find a spot to store them.  That way when you're up and running, you can slowly add them to your classroom.

For example: APPOINTMENT CARDS: what a great idea!!  I don't use them yet, but Jeanette (I think that was yours) you bet I'm going to when I find the time!  This blog is set up to be a place where teachers can share their ideas, resources, successes, failures, and testimonies.  Basically just a place to get together with one goal in mind: To become better teachers (with no pressure!).  The better ideas we have, the smoother our lessons go, and the more sanity we get to keep.  I'm looking forward to learning with all of you and hope you use this resource to connect!

This blog is set up as a community setting.  Click on the page you are interested in and then add your expertise with a comment or question.  All members of the presentation teams can blog on this site and anyone can leave comments or questions.  Thanks for your interest and visiting!

(Not sure what Daily 5 is?  Look below this post for a brief overview to get you started!!)
